Captain Harry Privette holds a USCG 100 Ton Ocean Master license with 40 years of yacht delivery and sailing instruction experience.

The Captain has completed a world circumnavigation, multi Trans Pacific and Trans Atlantic crossings, competed in more than 25 World Class ocean yacht races, and traversed the length of the Mississippi River. His deliveries have taken him and crew to the Mediterranean & Caribbean Seas, many of the islands in the Pacific and Indian Oceans.

Harry has taught sailing and boating at several institutions including the U.S. Naval Academy Sailing Squadron, Annapolis Sailing School, and Maryland School of Sailing and Seamanship. He was also the Operans Manager of a 35-boat charter fleet in Annapolis, Maryland America’s Sailing Capitol.

Previously, Captain Privette spent 18 years with a major NYSE Member Firm, three years as a college professor, and held the position of Protocol Aide the the Governor of Florida.

Captain Bill Hughes

Has over forty years yacht delivery and boating experience including the last eighteen with my own sailboat and now powerboat. He has cruised his own boats on the Chesapeake Bay, up and down the East coast with two trips to Maine, one trip to Bermuda, four trips to the Bahamas and six to Florida. He also has extensive cruising experience in the British and U.S. Virgin Islands. Additionally he has delivered boats to New England, Bermuda, Florida, the Bahamas, and the Virgin Islands. He also crewed on a trans Atlantic passage as first mate and navigator. He completed courses with the Naval Academy Safety at Sea Seminar, Offshore Sailing School and Power Squadron.

Captain Mark Hemstreet

Mark Hemstreet is a retired business executive, private pilot, marathoner, Ironman, and business consultant with over 15,000 nautical miles of open ocean/blue water experience. Mark learned sailing on Lasers the old fashion way: by the seat-of-his-pants. Mark progressed to larger offshore racing classes taking with him the disciplines he practiced earlier in life. Mark’s delivery skills include expert electronic navigation and communication as well as a clear understanding of the open ocean weather phenomenon. Mark contributes a well thought out approach and understanding to delivery planning.

Volker Petersen

Navigator and 1st Mate , has a power boat and sailing licence and twenty-five years of yacht boating experience.
Volker has completed yacht deliveries on TransAtlantic and TransPacific crossings as well as countless trips to the Caribbean, Germany, Sweden, Denmark and Croatia.

Arnie Bertsche

A retired Naval officer, Ocean Engineer and Deep Sea Diving Officer with a masters in Ocean Engineering has been the mainstay in the operation of Global Passage Solutions & Yacht Deliveries. He is affectionately referred to as Mr MacGyver. Little has come up that Arnie couldn’t fix or at least had a hand in fixing.

Arnie, like most accomplished sailors, started out by the seat of his pants sailing dinghies. Having been deployed pretty much around the world with the Navy Arnie had many opportunities to sail a variety larger blue water sailing yachts sharpening his natural born endowments to a very high plateau.

Arnie also brings to the table, or nav desk, an elevated level of mechanical/electrical/electronics skills. Arnie travels with an array of the latest navigational tools and the mental resources and alacrity to make them work for him.

What would a successful delivery be without a good seacook? Enter Arnie.

Bobby Allen

Captain Bobby Allen: storied ocean yacht racing sailor, mentor and long-time friend.
